Anna Wells, 89, of Danville, passed away February 25, 2018 in Danville, Kentucky. She was born August 18, 1928 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late David and Mary Gibson Smith.
She worked in a factory for most of her life and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Surviving is a son, Alan Wells of Danville; a daughter, Penny Griffin of Lexington; grandchildren: Kelly Dryden, Courtney Combs, Cody Griffin, Sara Wells, and Alan Wells Jr.; and four great-grandchildren: Carmeron, Carson, Zachary, and Zahi.
She is preceded in death by a son, James Wells; two brothers, Gary and Benny Smith; and a sister, Margaret Burgess.
Funeral services 1PM Wednesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Danville with Bishop Bradshaw officiating. Burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 11:30-12:30PM at the church.
