Beulah Scott Obituary


Beulah Scott, 92, of Danville, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.

She was born April 6, 1927 to parents, McKinley and Stella Bertram Criswell in Rugby, TN.  Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Albert Thomas Scott, son, Albert Lee Scott, brother, Charles Criswell, and sisters, Marie Coffman, Geneva Sherrow, Frances Anderson, Helen Rigsby and Virginia Lee Criswell.

Mrs. Scott was a homemaker and member of the Danville Church of God. She enjoyed spending time with her children as well as working on her crocheting and embroidery.

Mrs. Scott is survived by son, James (Betty) Scott of London, KY; daughter, Barbara (Buzz) Powell of Danville, KY; daughter, Allison Elaine Scott of Nashville, TN; daughter-in-law, Pamela Scott of Hustonville, KY; and sister, Ina Vest of Jellico, TN.   She also leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Danville Church of God - Fourth Street on Friday, June 14, 2019.  Public visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. 

Funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Brian Montgomery officiating. Burial in Danville Memorial Gardens.
