Elsie Wilson

Elsie B. Wray Wilson, 88, of Boyle County, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Springfield Nursing and Rehabilitation in Springfield, Kentucky. She was born on February 1, 1931 in Lincoln County to the late Ira and Ethel Coffman Wray. Elsie was preceded in death by her loving husband; Virgil Wilson.

Elsie was a member of Bower United Methodist Church and worked as the kitchen manager at Boyle County Middle School for many years.

Elsie is survived by one son, Franky Wilson of Danville; eight grandchildren, Amy Wilson, Sarah Carman, Rachel Wilson, Christy Owens, David Wilson, Angela Wilson, Matthew Preston and Jason Wofford and numerous great-grandchildren.

Elsie was preceded in death by two sons, David Wilson and Bobbie Joe Wilson; three daughters, Debbie Wofford, Loretta Wilson and Glenda Wilson; a brother Wayne Wray; one sister Bobbie Jean Mattingly.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21, 2019 with Bro. Travis Alltop officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, November 21, 2019 at the Funeral Home.
