Elwood Jones Obituary

Elwood Jones, Jr, 76, of Danville, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at his home. He was born in Marion County on February 24, 1943 to the late Elwood, Sr. and Paula Marshall Jones. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lilly Arlene Hafley Jones.

He was a farmer, cabinet maker, church musician and a member of Berea Christian Church in Harrodsburg, Ky.

Surviving is a son, Lynn Jones (Lisa) of Danville, siblings, Paulette Allen of Harrodsburg, Gary Jones of Lexington, Jackie Minks of Hustonville, Vickie Perry (Charlie) of Danville and Keith Jones (Wanda) of Lexington; granddaughter, Chelsey Holtzclaw of Danville; great grandchildren, Braydon Retallack and Kalynn Retallack, both of Danville and a special little dog, Ziggy.
