Geneva McCubbins

Geneva Fothergill McCubbins, 98, of Danville, passed away December 3, 2018 at Charleston Healthcare. She was born on June 17, 1920 in Garrard County to the late Curtis and Pattie Thompson Fothergill. Geneva was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph McCubbins.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving is a daughter, Peggy Miller (Rick) of Danville; grandchild; Jeff McCubbins and step great-grandchildren, Patrick and Brad McCubbins. 

Geneva was also preceded in death by a son, Ron McCubbins; brothers, Olaf, Earl, and Herbert Fothergill and sisters, Lilly Poynter, Elsie Turner, Garnett Meredith; and Grace Turner. 

Funeral services 1:00 PM Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Dr. Tim Mathis officiating. Burial in Lancaster Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 11AM until time of service.
