Harvey Chenault

Harvey L. Chenault, Sr., 77, of Danville, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019 in Louisville, KY after a long illness. He was born October 8, 1942 in Danville, Kentucky to the late Harvey E. and John Etta Bradshaw Chenault. 

Harvey retired from American Greetings where he was an electrician and was self-employed as a general handyman, primarily lawncare provider.

Surviving are two children, Harvey L. Chenault, Jr. of Louisville, KY and Victoria L. A. Chenault of Atlanta, GA; siblings, Loretta Taylor (Albert Lee) of Danville, Bethel Wade of Danville, Rita Bowman of Danville and George B. Chenault of Danville; grandchildren: Michael Chenault (Amanda), Kafia Chenault, Ryan Chenault, Ryan Birks, Harvey Chenault III, and Jaden Burns; and great-grandchildren, Rylan Chenault, Raegan Bennett, Rhyan Bennett, and Mycah-Jade Chenault.

Preceding him in death are his parents; son Ryan E. Chenault; two sisters, Barbara Nelson and Sarah Porter; and a great-grandchild, Tristan Lewis Chenault. 

Funeral services will be 1PM Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Bethel Baptist Church, 309 Cowan St. with Rev. Ronald McCowan officiating. Visitation will be 11AM until service time at the church.
