John Timothy "Timmy" Lenox

John Timothy "Timmy" Lenox, 76, of Danville, passed away January 6, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born March 21, 1943 in Madison County to the late John Thomas and Mary O'Neil Lenox. Timmy was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Southard Lenox.

He was a graduate of Danville High School, attended Western Kentucky University and served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam Conflict. Timmy retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a faithful of member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He was an epic storyteller and loved to fish.

Surviving is a son, Tim Galvin of Lexington; a daughter, Amy Isola (Steve) of Danville and grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Isola, Lenox Robert Isola and John Niall Manganar.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and sisters, Mary Tom Clemons and Julia Paquette.

A funeral mass will be held 11AM Friday, January 10, 2020 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony McLaughlin. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 9, 2020 from 6-8PM at the church. 

Pallbearers are John Adams, Ronnie Hardwick, Mike Wilder, Daryl Terry, Don Lee, and Mike Singleton.
