Margie Mae Bodner-Jarvis. July 30, 2018. Age 91. Beloved Wife of Ross Jarvis and the late Carl Bodner (d 2008). Dear Mother of Carla (Richard) Smith and Darlene (Kenneth) Wolff. Dear Grandmother of Breanne Wolff and Kaleana (David) LeGrand. Dear Great-Grandmother of Damien, Colten, Brysen, Zayden, Avelyn and Hendrix. Dear Sister of Mary Frances (late Eugene) Stevens and Earlene (late Walter) Kidd. Margie was predeceased by Parents, Jesse James Cannon and Mary Adline (Dave) Thompson; and Brothers, Samuel, Earnest, Riley, Joseph and William Cannon. Margie passed away peacefully, surrounded by family.

She was born and raised in Junction City, Kentucky. She left Kentucky and moved to the Detroit, Michigan area in 1947. Visitation Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 3:00 – 8:00 pm at Gramer Funeral Home (Diener Chapel) 48271 Van Dyke Ave. (between 21 & 22 Mile Rds.) Shelby Twp.

Mrs. Bodner-Jarvis will be transferred to Kentucky for further arrangements as follows: Visitation Friday, August 3, 2018, from 10:00 am – 12 noon (time of service) at Preston-Pruitt-Spurlin Funeral Home, 331 S. 4th St., Danville, KY 40422. Interment will follow at Junction City Cemetery, Junction City, KY. Memorials may be made to “The Gideons International” (in support of the donation of Bibles).
