Melissa McDowell Obituary

Melissa K. McDowell, 46, of Danville, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital. She was born on April 13, 1973 in Garrard County to Ella Mae McDowell of Danville and the late Phillip McDowell.

Melissa worked for home health in the past, she loved to take care of people. She loved her family, her dog, Binx and loved reading novels.

Along with her mother, surviving are two sisters, Jennifer Bell (Antonio) of Lexington and Edwina Wilkinson(Ambers) of Danville; nieces, Sheyenne McDowell, Trinity McDowell and Mikayla Bell; nephews, Christian McDowell and Antonio Bell and a great-niece, Aubree Allen.

Private services will be held at a later date.
