Pauline Goodman Turner, 72, of Danville, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was born December 25, 1945 in Salway, Kentucky to the late James Issac and Sophia Lou Helms Goodman. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, James Turner, Sr.
She worked as a guide at Shakertown Village for many years and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are three daughters, Christy Turpin (Gary) of Harrodsburg, Linda Followell (Darrell) of Danville, and Lisa Lear (Shelby) of Danville; a step-son, James Turner; two brothers, Jimmy Goodman and Ovel Goodman (Mary), both of Hardin County; a sister, Louise Hay of Hardin County; ten grandchildren: Ben Pierce, Sylvia Neal, Paula Turner, Justin Followell, James Followell, Melody Wilson, Emily Turpin, Josh Followell, Keith Lear, and Kimberly Turner, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband and parents: she is preceded in death by brothers, Roy, Lawrence, and Johnny Goodman; sisters, Ruby Mears and Birthia Folden, three grandchildren, and a special friend, Jay Miller.
Funeral services 11AM Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Neal officiating. Burial in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation 5-8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Keith Lear, Shelby Lear, Justin Followell, Josh Followell, James Followell, Timmy Lear, Kyle Preston, and Cody Lear.
