Ralph Bryan Boyd, 85, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday January 12, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen West Boyd. Ralph was born on April 15, 1933 in Lincoln County, KY to the late William Bryan and Vernie Young Boyd.
He was a truck driver for over 50 years. Ralph attended Van Buren Church of Christ in Mt. Eden, KY.
Surviving are four sons, Ralph Boyd Jr. of Danville, Jay Herbert Boyd of Danville, Roger Wilburn(Tish) of Lexington, and Darril Wilburn(Marcy) of Texas; seven daughters, Tina Stevens(Forrest) of Lawrenceburg, Colleen Devine of Danville, Teresa Boyd of Danville, Lisa Boyd of Danville, Michelle Stith(Jason) of Moreland, Debbie Whitis of Somerset, and Joyce Burchett(Joe) of Junction City, KY; three brothers, Kenneth Boyd(Patsy) of Stanford, Gene Boyd(Nancy) of Stanford, and Ronald Boyd of Danville; three sisters, Opal Brown, Doris Day, and Virginia May Brown all of Stanford; twenty grandchildren, Misty Hupp, Dylan Hundley, Whitney Lane, Shaun Boyd, Kayla Boyd, Haley Esters, Ashley Taylor, Kim Taylor, April Prewitt, Anthony Pinkston, Gabriel Wilburn, Vincent Wilburn, Travis Wilburn, Sydney Wilburn, Ryan Wilburn, Joe Burchett, Candy Taylor, Wendy Egolf, Ernie Wilburn Jr. and Amanda Wilburn. Also surviving are twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Ralph, along with his wife and parents was preceded in death by a son Ernie Wilburn; a daughter, Natalie Boyd; two sisters, Christine Lee, Francis Wine; and a brother Woodrow Boyd.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday January 16, 2019 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Dathan Darby officiating.
Visitation will be 5-9 PM Tuesday January 15, 2019 at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Larry Stevens, Eddie Stevens, Ronnie Stevens, Ricky Stevens, Brent Stevens, and Forrest Stevens.
