Ruey Belcher Obituary
Ruey Nell Lemon Belcher, 89, of Junction City, passed away Thursday at her home. She was born June 1, 1928 in Monroe County, Kentucky to the late John and Christeen Eldridge Lemon. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph V. Belcher.
Ruey worked for the state for more than twenty years. She worked for Ky State Hospital and was a homemaker for childcare. She was a faithful member of Alum Springs First Church of God.
Surviving are three daughters, Christeen Bottom (Lynn), Sherry Denson (Gary), and Teresa Buck, all of Junction City; nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services 1PM Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Alum Springs Church of God with Bro. Donald Lear officiating. Burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation 5-9PM Monday, February 12, 2018 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Joey Wilson, Brandon Bottom, Daniel Adams, Austin Bodner, Ethan White, Joseph Wilson, Landon Myers, and Micah Pass. Honorary pallbearers are Sammy Belcher, James and Joe Lemon, Howard Jackson, Larry Belcher, Jim Belcher, Lester Lemon, and Mike Belcher.
