Alberta Josephine Keahey, 89, passed away December 25, 2020 in Danville, Kentucky. She was born on December 18, 1931 in Lee, Pennsylvania to the late Joseph and Josephine Yaglenski. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James Keahey, Jr.
She was homemaker for many years. She had worked as receptionist at beauty salon and as salesperson at Franklin Mint for a few years. Alberta was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Delaware. She had a giving heart, volunteering her time at a Christian book store and served food for Meals on Wheels. She was Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. She loved traveling and social with her friends. She loved playing Scrabble and Poker cards.
Surviving is a son, James Keahey, III (Rose) of Harrodsburg; four daughters, Sandra Johnson (Robert) of Pennsylvania, Karen Grozak (John) of California, Diana Cagle (Robert) of Danville and Andrea Kane (Kevin) of Pennsylvania; a sister, Theresa Webb of Florida; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren with one on the way.
She is preceded in death by a grandchild, Liam Kane.
A family service will be held in Delaware.
