Antonio DeShawn Lancaster, 28, of Stanford, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2024 in Danville. He was born in Danville on March 30, 1996 to Melinda Lancaster and the late Anthony Scott Leavell. He is survived by his loving wife, Crystal Lancaster.
Antonio worked with horses along with other positions he has held over the years at Hitachi, Memorial Gardens, Timberland, Diversified Maintenance and was a home health nurse. He was a graduate of Danville High School and was a Junior Soldier in the Salvation Army.
In addition to his wife and mother, Antonio is survived by three daughters Kehlani Lancaster of Lexington, Amaya Stateman of Stanford and Adrianna Stateman of Stanford; five siblings, Macarla Lancaster of Danville, Nikki Jones of Harrodsburg, Ashton Leavell of Perryville, Taqueshon Henderson of Florida and Zachary Brock of Salvisa; a grandfather, Donald Lancaster of Danville; three uncles, Don Ogle, Juan Ogle and Tony Ogle; an aunt, Carla Lancaster; Two great-uncles, Troy Yocum and Paul Yocum; four great-aunts, Jackie Yocum, Marsha Yocum, Dorothy Lofton and Edith Meaux; five cousins, William Christopher Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Ryan Jackson, Cameron Jackson, London Jackson; a Mother-in-law Gloria Barber; two Brother-in-laws, David Swinney and Andrew Barber; multiple nieces and nephews; and four special friends, Kyle Wiley, Tony Coslow, Jamison Ball, and Jamal Brown.
He is preceded in death by a great-uncle, James Lancaster.
Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church on Walnut Street in Danville on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the church.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Jackson, Christopher Jackson, Lamar Yocum, David Swinney, Andrew Barber, Kel Chenaunalt, Dexter Brand, Jamison Ball and Caleb Ogle.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Marcus Yocum, Jamal Brown, Jeff Lancaster, David Horn and Hunter Horn.
