Archie Faulkner

Archie Faulkner, 92, of Danville, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Landmark of Danville. 

Born in Paint Lick, KY on October 8, 1928, he was the son of Arch and Everee Faulkner.

He was proceeded in death by his wife of 66 years, Eddye Maye Faulkner; brothers, Edward, Lawrence, Allen, Samuel; and sister Louetta Summers.

Archie was an employee of Whirlpool and also a construction worker for many years.   And a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church, Moreland, KY.

He is survived by a son, Michael (Gladys) Faulkner of Danville; a daughter, Donnetta (Donald) Corbin of Texas; three sisters, Minnie Meadows, Mary McGill, and Lucille Snodgrass, all of Danville; grandson, Brent Faulkner, Louisville; granddaughters, Desiree (Jeremiah) Wortham, Chicago, IL, and Doneesha (Cameron) Graham, Texas; two great granddaughters, Eden Wortham and Codi Graham; sister-in-law, Mary Norwood and her daughter, Carlette, who held a special place in his heart; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.  Public visitation will be 9:30 - 11:30 am with service beginning at 11:30 am.

Burial to follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY.
