Audrey Loy Ping, 94, of Danville, passed away April 11, 2021 at Morning Pointe of Danville. She was born in August 21, 1926 in Russell Springs, Kentucky to the late William Otha and Leora Helm Loy. Audrey was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Howard Ping.
She was a faithful member of Centenary Methodist Church in Danville.
Surviving is a son, Keith Ping (Linda) of Harrodsburg, sisters, Ann Frazee of Indiana and Edith Dunbar of Tennessee, grandchildren, Michael Ping (Ashley) of Harrodsburg and Erik Ping (Christie) of Lexington, great grandchildren, Ryan, Owen and Madelyn Ping and lots of nieces and nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Ping and siblings, James, Crella, Thelma, Velmer, Woodrow, Jewell, Ilene, Bennie, Azro, Clarence, Hila, and Helen.
Funeral services will be 12:00pm Friday, April 16, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Garner officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 pm at Camp Nelson National Cemetery’s Committal Shelter. Visitation will be from 10am-12pm on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are preferred to the American Heart Association and American Cancer Society.
