Barbara Jean Cooley

Barbara Jean Cooley, 71, of Danville, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Danville Centre for Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on March 24, 1949 in Danville, Kentucky to the late Foster and Marie Stratton Cooley.
 
Barbara worked in sales at Goody’s for many years and was a member of Pleasant Run Baptist Church. She loved gardening, dancing and Elvis music. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy in life.
 
Barbara is survived by two daughters Tamara Hensley Hibbs (Jeff Hogue) of Danville and Lorie Keppler (Mark) of Louisiana; a son Shane Lester of Virginia; grandchildren, Cheyenne Grimes (Stewart), Terrah Feldman (Chase), Abigail Hibbs, Adam Hibbs, Brock Patterson-Keppler, Brandon Marshall, Jenatha Craven and Miranda Craven and great grandchildren, Hudson Feldman, Adriana, Julianna, Marianna, and Giovanni Craven. 
 
Along her parents, Barbara, was preceded in death by an infant brother; a sister, Wanda Cooley and a son, Robert Patterson.
 
Funeral service will be 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Junior Fields officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until time of service on Thursday.
