Barry Dennis

Bro. Barry Don Dennis, 72, of Danville, passed away Tuesday at Danville Health and Rehabilitation. He was born January 29, 1947 in Laurel, Mississippi to the late Raymond and Clodell Jones Dennis. 

Bro. Barry pastored many churches in Kentucky and Louisiana for over 35 years. He was a member of St. James AME Church in Danville. 

Surviving are two daughters, Emily Christian (Shawn) of Richmond and Amanda Dennis of Danville; grandchildren: Brent Christian (Brittany), Hailey Christian, Madi Christian, Delaney Dennis and Devin Dennis; and one great grandchild, Brynlee Christian. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Arvis Dennis. 

Funeral services will be 2PM Saturday, August 24, 2019 at St James AME Church with Rev. Ralph Smith and Dr. Gerry Richardson officiating. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am-2pm Saturday.
