Bill “Skip” Anderson, 90, of Danville, passed away February 7, 2024 at Morning Pointe in Danville. He was born on April 19, 1933 to the late Earl and Raye Isham. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Juanita.
Bill graduated from Perryville High School and attended Centre College and UK. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church. Bill was a lifelong farmer; a steward of his land, raising cattle and tobacco for many years. He was a family man and was “Grandad” to a family he dearly loved and was so proud of.
Surviving is a son, Steve Anderson (Nancy) of Danville, a daughter, Anita Bertram (Steve) of Danville; four grandchildren, Joshua Bertram (Rebekah), Justin Anderson (Kelly), Andrew Bertram (Sara) and Casie Anderson Prible (Will); and great-grandchildren, Clayton Bertram, Claire Bertram, Sydney Anderson, Lauren Anderson, Anna Prible, Liam Prible, Isaiah Bertram and Jeremiah Bertram.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, and a daughter-in-law, Jane Anderson.
Funeral services will be 1pm Monday, February 12, 2024 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Andrew Bertram officiating. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm on Monday February 12, 2024. A private family graveside service will be held at Bellevue Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Josh Bertram, Justin Anderson, Andrew Bertram, Danny Roller, Gary and Barry Baker.
Memorial contributions are preferred to Alzheimer’s Association.
