Bobbie Sargent

Bobbie Ann Haney Sargent, 82, of Danville, passed away Sunday February 16, 2020 at Danville Health & Rehab in Danville, KY. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James “Jim” W. Sargent. Bobbie was born in Caneyville, Kentucky on April 25, 1937 to the late Hubert and Connie Bratcher Haney. 

Bobbie was of the Christian faith, loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, and cooking for family and friends.

Bobbie is survived by a son, Erbin Sargent of Forkland; three daughters, Karen Kramp (Sheldon) of Perryville, Anita Pinkston (Alan) of Harrodsburg and Jody Simpson (Marshall) of Harrodsburg; two brothers, Glenn Haney and Joe Haney (Ruth) both of Illinois; a sister, Beulah Snow of Middleburg; sister in law, Phyllis Haney of Illinois; seven grandchildren, Adrain Anderson, Kayla Pinkston, Joshua Sargent, Corey Simpson, Logan Pinkston, Kelly Simpson, and Jacob Kramp; and four great grandchildren, Shae Anderson, Lee Pinkston-Pelley, Oliver Pinkston and Sebastian Swann.

Along with her husband, Bobbie was preceded in death by a daughter Jennie Marie, and by three brothers, Frank Haney, Lloyd Haney and Clay Haney. 

Funeral service will be 2:00PM on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Ping and Bro. John Kesel officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00PM to 9:00PM on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at the funeral home and an additional visitation will be Friday from 12PM until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Adrian Anderson, Shae Anderson, Logan Pinkston, Corey Simpson, Andrew Lawrence and Jacob Kramp.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Kelly Simpson, Kayla Pinkston and Joshua Sargent.

Memorial contributions are preferred to American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association.
