Brynda Gail Engle, 72, of Danville, passed away May 27, 2026. She was born March 1, 1954 in Danville, Kentucky to the late William Thomas and Viola Thomas Engle.
Brynda was a special education teacher, a position she dearly loved. She was an artist at heart. Whether she was decorating, designing, or sewing, she had a talent for making the things around her more beautiful. Her grandchildren, Addison, Levi, Ella, and Zoey were her world and the joy of her heart.
Surviving is a son, Jody Lenington (Carin) of Harrodsburg and a daughter, Jessica Lenington of Danville; grandchildren-Addison, Levi, Ella, and Zoey; a brother, William “Bill” Engle of Junction City and sisters, Patsy Engle Steele of Danville and Peggy Engle Freeman (David) of Harrodsburg and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.
