Cathie Vongruenigen

Catherine Lucille Bandy Vongruenigen, 79, of Danville, passed away, Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on March 11, 1942 in Perryville to the late Carl and Elizabeth Boswell Bandy.

Cathie was a member of Junction City Baptist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Jeffrey Spangler (Vivian) of Junction City, Gregory Vongruenigen of Stanford and John T. Vongruenigen of Danville; a sister, Carolyn Yowell of Danville.

Cathie was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne; three brothers, James Bandy, Kieth Bandy and Bernard Bandy; two sisters, Barbara Kurtz and Peggy Mitchell

A graveside service will be at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
