Christine King Pike

Alice “Christine” King Pike, 93, of Parksville, passed away February 7,  2026 at Maplewood Health and Rehabilitation in Lancaster, Kentucky. She was born on November 5, 1932 in Boyle County to the late Clarence E. and Effie Miller King.

Christine loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved to sew, writing in her journals, playing the piano, and loved to read. Above all, she was an amazing mother and grandmother, and loved her family dearly. 

She is survived by her children, Barbara Hale (Chris) of Gravel Switch, Roy Pike (Sue) of Harrodsburg, John Pike of Oldham County, Betty Pike of Harrodsburg, and Gale Mason of Danville; grandchildren, Rick Owens, Tim Owens, Rebecca Underwood, Renee Layer, Jason Pike, Darren Pike, Adam Pike, Brandi Todd, Christy Wheeler, Lora McBee, and Dustin Mason; great-grandchildren, Ivy, Callie, Erica, Kelsey, Austin, Andrew, Lucas, Taylor, Hagan, Kaitlyn, Brock, Brady, Ethan, Aiden, Cheyenne, Vanessa, Abby, Gage, Morgan, Rachel, and Nick; 11 great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Orvel King of Indianapolis and Dorse King (Barbara) of Danville and a sister, Beulah Jackson of Danville. 

Christine was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Leroy Pike, her parents, Clarence and Effie King; two brothers, Orless and Elbert King and a great-granddaughter, Alyssa Owens. 

Funeral services will be 1pm Friday, February 13, 2026 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Darin Jensen and Jacob Burkett officiating. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 5pm to 8pm at the funeral home. An additional visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 from 11am until the service time. 

Pallbearers will be Rick Owens, Tim Owens, Jason Pike, Darren Pike, Dustin Mason, and Austin Underwood. 

Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Pike and Chris Hale.
