Christopher Adam Cornett

Christopher Adam Cornett, 41, of Stanford passed away on October 5, 2025. He was born on March 13, 1984 in Danville to William “Mick” and Cheryl Osborne Cornett.

Chris enjoyed playing pool and fishing. He loved North Carolina basketball and played football during his high school years at Danville High School.

In addition to his loving parents, Chris is survived by three sons, Jackson Coyle of Tennessee, Dakota Cornett of Florida, and Aiden Cornett of Tennessee; a brother; Brandon Cornett (Lily) of Danville; two nephews, Alex Cornett (Felicity) of Harrodsburg and Phoenix Cornett of Danville; two nieces, Brandi Cornett of Lincoln County, and Rebecca Cornett of Danville; a great-nephew, Zander Carpenter; two great-nieces, Codi Cornett and Tommi Cornett; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home on Friday, October 10, 2025 at 11 AM with Pastor Mark Tolson officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
