David Justin Poncer, 40, of Danville, passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Boyle County on January 21, 1980 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital to William "Bill" Poncer of Danville and Kathleen Marie Biega-Poncer of Pennsylvania.
David was a Customer Service Representative with Conduent Commercial Solutions in Lexington KY and was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are his parents, paternal grandmother, Sally Poncer of Danville, a brother, James D Poncer (Mariam) of Ohio, a nephew, Timothy Poncer and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by a paternal grandfather, Robert L Poncer and maternal grandparents, Albert and Lena Biega.
David graduated from Danville High School in Danville, KY and the Ohio Institute of Photography and Technology in Dayton, OH. David is most known to be a kind and gentle soul by all who knew him. He loved attending concerts such as Five Finger Deaht Punch, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.. He also enjoyed playing card games such as O'Heck, Dungeons and Dragons with others and was fiercely competetive at those. He will be missed dearly by his parents, sibling, family and friends and will be lovingly remembered.
A private in person family funeral service will be on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home.
A live stream visatation will start at 12:00 noon and the service at 1:00 pm.
