David Webb, 73, of Danville, passed away after a long illness on November 24, 2021 at his home in Danville. He was born on January 28, 1948 in Marion County to the late Walter and Margie Conder Webb.
David was a member of the Methodist faith and attended Centenary United Methodist Church.
He worked in retail at Hobb's Department Store and IGA in Lebanon and Kroger's in Danville.
Surviving is a niece, Dr. Rebecca Brady of Cincinnati, Ohio.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roy Webb; sisters, Lillian Ferrell, Naomi Webb, Audrey Davenport, and Wanda Brady; and his special cat, Cinnamon that died last year.
Funeral services will be 10am Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Lanham and Rev. John Duff officiating. Burial will follow in Elder Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5pm on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home and starting at 9 AM until the service on Tuesday.
Special thanks to Rick Thrasher, Paul Feistritzer, home health nurses Ashley and Dana, Dr. David Overstreet, Dr. Jordan Miller and the University of Kentucky Hospital staff who cared for David during his long illness.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Leathers, Wayne Ross, Matthew Ellis, Paul Feistritzer, Rick Thrasher, and Mike Kondik. Honorary pallbearers are Neil Lanham, Tony Smith and Dale Phillips.
