Dorothy M. Jones

Dorothy M. Jones, 94, of Mercer County, passed away Sunday August 20, 2023 at Harrodsburg Health & Rehabilitation Center in Harrodsburg. She was born in Nicholasville on November 29, 1928 to the late Albert and Mary Elizabeth Littral.

She was a member of Hedgeville Baptist Church. She worked for IBM and loved to do embroidery. She was an avid reader and read her Bible daily.

Dorothy is survived by a son, Phillip Davis Jones Jr. (Donna) of Texas; two daughters Bonnie Jones Winfield of Harrodsburg and Janet McGregor (Morgan) of Oregon; three grandchildren, Gregory Winfield of Lawrenceburg, Kristie Martin (Allen) of Danville and Edward Combs of Oregon; and five great-grandchildren Aram Martin, Kolton Winfield (Mara) Havanna Casey (Connor), Jadelyn Guerra (Terian), and Sabrina Kline.

Dorothy was preceded in death by three brothers, Stanley Littral, Thomas Littral and Bud Littral; and three sisters Edna Rupard, Helen Sutton and Mildred Crigger.

A burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. A private family service will be held in the fall.
