Dr. Yolanda Weathers

Dr. Yolanda Michelle Weathers, 45, of Danville, passed away January 4, 2022 at UK Hospital. She was born in Danville, Kentucky on June 27, 1976 to the late Bishop Larry, Sr. and Amanda Payne Weathers.

Dr. Yolanda was an excellent and celebrated educator, receiving numerous awards, certifications and accolades in her field. She was a math teacher at Bate Middle School and played a vital role in many student’s lives. She was an ordained evangelist and a very integral part of Vision Church of Holiness. She loved to travel and meet new people. Her magnetic personality made her impossible not to love and adore. 

Yolanda is survived by two sisters, Angela Weathers of Winchester and Melinda Weathers of Danville; two brothers, Jason Weathers (Devan) of Danville and Larry Weathers, II (Eboney) of Georgia; several nieces and nephews, aunts & uncles, personal mentees and many who deeply loved her.  

A public walk through visitation will be from 9am-11am on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Vision Church of Holiness. A private family funeral will follow.
