Edmond “Eugene” Horton

Edmond “Eugene” Horton, 87, of Danville, passed away March 4, 2022 in Danville, Kentuckty. He was born on November 29, 1934 in Eubank, Kentucky to the late Wallace and Lucy Stevens Horton. He was preceded in death by his wife, Monie “Miller” Horton.

He is survived by two sons, Edmond E. Horton, Jr. of Danville and Timothy Lee Horton of Lexington, a daughter, Sylvia Mogridge of Danville, one brother, Ray Horton (Liz) of Danville, two sisters, Grace Mastin and Lois Hester Vanhook and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, a sister, Lena Burton and a brother, Eddie J. Horton. 

Funeral services 1pm Thursday, March 10, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 12pm-1pm at the funeral home.
