Edward Kannard

Edward Kannard, 88, of Danville, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021 at his home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Davis Kannard. Edward was born on January 7, 1933 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late William Douglas Kannard and Pauline Hehl Kannard.

Edward served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of Indian Hills Christain Church in Danville.

Surviving is a daughter, Kathy Hignight (John) of Danville; two sons, Kraig Kannard (Karen) of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Kevin Kannard (Alicia) of St. Charles, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Katie, Sarah, Brian, Eric, Aaron, Justin, Jennifer and Janna; six great grandchildren, Lucy, Eadlyn, Cooper, Levi, Emma and Brielle.

Edward was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Kannard Patten; a brother Jacob William Kannard and a great granddaughter, Lilly Noel.

A private family service will be held at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with burial at Riverside Cemetery in Troy, Ohio.
