Ernest Grugin Obituary

Ernest Calvin Grugin, 85, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 in San Jacinto, California. He was born on September 14, 1936 in Parksville, KY to the late James William and Mable Lanham Grugin.

Ernest served for our country in the United States Navy. He worked in Construction for many years.

Surviving is a son, Rodney Grugin (Elizabeth) of Tennessee; two brothers, James Melvin Grugin (Betty) of West Virginia and Authur Grugin (Gail) of Parksville; grandchildren, Celia Lane, Rodney Grugin, Caroline Fisher, Katherine Grugin, Megan Grugin, Shay Hanson, and Christopher Grugin.

Ernest was also preceded in death by two sons, David and Douglas Grugin; a daughter, Donna Phillips; and a brother Howard Parkin Grudin.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Parksville Cemetery with Military Honors.
