Evan George Duane 81, of Danville Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on Monday March 9, 2020.
George was born on September 4, 1938, in Yonkers, New York, the only child of George B. and Mabel C. (Evans) Duane. He earned a degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and worked his entire career at Grumman Aerospace Corporation on Long Island, New York.
After retiring, George moved to Danville, Kentucky with his wife Diane, where he enjoyed life as a gentleman farmer. In Danville, George made new friends and embraced a new way of life, at one point even naming baby goats after his grandchildren.
George is predeceased by his wife Diane (Plotke) and is survived by his first wife Patricia, his three sons and their wives, as well as six grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of his life at his farm at a later date to be determined. The family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.
