Evelyn Wilson

Evelyn Burger Wilson, 90, of Boyle County, passed away December 6, 2022 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. She was born August 17, 1932 in Parksville, Kentucky to the late Hencie and Corene Bandy Burger. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest James Wilson.

Evelyn loved flowers and her family most of all. She loved to take care of her family, babysit her grandchildren and was a wonderful cook. Evelyn always had a smile on her face and she loved the Lord so much. She was a member of Burgin Church of God.

Surviving is a son, Jackie Wilson (Mary Beth) of Crab Orchard; three daughters, Cathy Adams (Keith) of Crab Orchard, Becky Conder (Jerry) of Gravel Switch, and Debra McKenney (Ted) of Harrodsburg; grandchildren, James Wilson (Brooke), Tamara Wilson, Katrina Ransdell (Jason), Brett Adams (Claudia), Ernest Conder (Lisa), Jonathan Conder, Shane McKenney, and Cheyanna McKenney; great grandchildren, Mary Jo Mullen (Jeremy), Stephanie Crouch, Sam Wilson, Parker Ransdell, Taylor Ransdell, Beau Adams, Garrett Adams, Gage Conder, Chloe Richards, Jayslynn Richards, Bethany Conder, Brayden Conder, Remi Conder, Mary Conder, Brecken and Alex Wren; great-great grandchildren, Ryland Mullen and Noah Crouch; a sister, Brenda Hays (Clellan) of Lebanon, a niece, Jennifer Hays and a nephew, Chris Hays.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, and a brother, Bobby Burger.

Funeral services 1pm, Monday, December 12, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Irvin and Bro. Clellan Hays officiating. Burial in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 6:30-9pm.

Pallbearers will be Shane McKenney, Brett Adams, James Wilson, Ernie Conder, Gage Conder, and Jonathan Conder.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Tamra Wilson, Cheyenna McKenney, Katrina Ransdell, Brooke Wilson, Claudia Adams, Lisa Conder, Jason Ransdell, Stephanie Crouch and Mary Jo Mullen.

Memorial contributions are preferred to your charity of choice.

A meal will be provided by Burgin Church of God after the graveside service.
