Georgia Mae (Morrett) Montgomery, age 85, of Union, Ohio passed away on November 11, 2022. Georgia was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 18, 1937 
to late George W. Morrett and Opal Philimenia Abbott Morrett (McElroy).

Georgia had started working at seven years of age helping her Grandmother, Minnie Alice Smith during the Great Depression Era. She had learned at a very young age the importance of working in order to provide for her family. Georgia had enjoyed singing in her church choir. She had dedicated her life taking care of her family and working for most of her life. She had worked at Flints Restaurant, Stillwater Sanitarium, and Englewood Nursing Home. 

Georgia was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Ray Morrett, Grandfather, Jimmy Smith, Grandmother, Minnie Alice Smith, nephew, James L. Wilson, nephew, Charles Pendergraft,  niece, Connie Pendergraft Tate, cousin {daughter of Connie Pendergraft}, Melissa Tate, aunt, Pat Stakley, aunt, Bea Wiskettle, sister, Alberta Lee (Morrett) Smith, and brother Alfred Ray Emerson.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 67 years, Earl B. Montgomery Sr., daughter, Ada A. Wyatt (Roger), daughter, Barbara S. Smith (Jeff Percifield), son, Earl B. Montgomery Jr, and daughter, Tammy L. Breeze (Brett), and brother, Gary Emerson(Brenda Griffith). Grandchildren: Elizabeth Robertson (Scott), Melinda Chandler, Roger Wyatt Jr, Michael C. Peterson (Christen), Christina A. Peterson, Anthony Slack (Abby), and Cyan Breeze. Great Grandchildren: Tiffany Robertson(Chris Kiszkiel), Brittany Mosser (Jared), Ashley Williams (Billy), Paul Chandler, Mathieux Wyatt, Elijah Wyatt, Devon Wyatt, Astrid Wyatt, Caleb Peterson, Chloe Peterson, Benjamin Peterson, and Malcolm Peterson. Great Great Grandchildren: Bryce Williams, Billy Williams Jr., Liam Mosser, Adin Moser, Bella Williams, and Raylan Kiszkiel. Extended families: Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins. Best friend: Brenda Woody

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.
