Gerald Deaton

Gerald V. Deaton, 73, of Danville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on November 6, 2025. He was born October 10, 1952, to his late parents Charles and Barbara Deaton. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Betty Deaton.

Gerald retired from American Greetings. He was of the Baptist faith. 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Julie Deaton. He is survived by brothers, David and Terry Deaton of West Milton, Ohio and a sister, Debra Hensley (Glenn) of Gray, Kentucky. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1pm Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Donald Potts officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Thursday.

Pallbearers will be Carl, Russell and Jeff Day, Mike and Joey Ray and Tyler Hargis.
