Glinda Anne Mitchell

Glinda Anne Mitchell, 48, of Danville, passed away January 2, 2023 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on January 31, 1974 in Karlsruhe, Germany to the late James Wallace Mitchell and Ursula Giraud Mitchell of Danville.

Glinda was a LPN for over 20 years and a member of Southside Christian Church. She loved horses and the outdoors. Glinda adored her family, her dog, Lola and was known for her famous Strawberry dessert.

Surviving is her mother, Ursula; son, Bradly Mitchell of Lexington; daughter, Helena Thompson (Stephen) of Indiana; brothers, Andrew Mitchell of Perryville and James Mitchell of New York; sister, Angela Friedman (Cory) of Pennsylvania and nieces, Claire and Willow Friedman.

Funeral services will be 7pm Friday, January 6, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Matthew Riley officiating. Visitation will be from 4pm until service time on Friday.
