Ida C. Boyd, 93, of Danville, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Danville Health and Rehabilitation. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Boyd. Ida was born on February 28, 1929 in Lawrenceburg, KY to the late Elmore and Luzene Lane Jenkins. 

Surviving are grandchildren, Todd Boyd (Amy) of Danville, Doug Darland (Jami) of Harrodsburg, and Trish Claunch (Gerald) of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Juanita Morris of Danville, Sara Ann Blakeman of Lexington, and Virginia Garland of Lexington; and six great-grandchildren. 

Ida was also preceded in death by a son, Wendell Boyd; a brother, Bill Jenkins; and a sister, Sara Ann Jenkins.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 18, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be 10:00 AM until time of the service.

Burial will be in Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY.

Active pallbearers are Todd Boyd, Doug Darland, Matthew Boyd, Michael Boyd, and M.J. Boyd.

Honorary pallbearers are Chester Kavanaugh and Lukas Boyd.
