Iola Thomas

Iola Thomas, 85, of Danville, KY. Iola passed away Monday, October 21, 2024 at Danville Health & Rehab Center in Danville, KY,  She was born on April 21, 1939 in Lee County, Alabama to the late Hendrix and Fannie Stevens Richardson.

She leaves to cherish her memory: a loving sister, Cynthia (Donnell) Johnson of Stanford, KY; three stepdaughters, Nicole Renea Spratley, Patricia Jones and Priscilla Jones; one goddaughter; two special nieces, Monquetta S. Kindred of Iowa and Cafaydra S. Kindred of Opelika, AL; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 28, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery, 1409 Monroe Avenue, Opelika, AL 36801. 

Local arrangements were entrusted to Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home in Danville, Kentucky.
