Irene B. Saurine Hart

Irene B. Saurine Hart, 91, of Danville, formerly of Michigan and Ohio, died Sunday, Oct. 18. She was born Nov. 12, 1928 to Martin and Bianca "Emily" Onesti Saurine in Detroit, Michigan. She was the widow of James "Jim" Dale Hart.

Irene was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and had volunteered at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center and the Amen Corner at her church. Irene had been an avid bowler and golfer. Most recently, she loved playing bridge with her friends at McDowell Place, where she lived, and also at the Gathering Place Senior Citizens Center.

Irene was retired from the Montgomery County (Ohio) Board of Elections.

Survivors include her children, David (Robin) Hart, Lori (John) Chaffin and Christy Hart. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Hart.

A private burial will take place at Camp Nelson National Cemetery where Irene will be laid to rest with her husband.
