James Goodpaster

James Evan Goodpaster, 43, of Danville, passed away July 18, 2022 in Danville, Kentucky. He was born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to the late James Kenneth Goodpaster and Deborah Sue Bottom Roach of Parksville. He is survived by his loving wife, Angel Johnson Goodpaster.

James lived for his family his children and his grandchildren. He loves spending time at home with his wife and going fishing with his dad.

Surviving is his wife, his parents, Deborah and Bobby Roach of Parksville, a son, Robert Duane Goodpaster of Danville, a daughter, Taylor Cheyenne Goodpaster of Danville, a step-son, Daniel Wayne Doss of Danville, grandchildren, Danni Lynn Grace, Jaxon Kenneth, and Colton Lane, and Huntleigh Rayne;
a step sister, Sarah Roach of Parksville, a brother, Richard Lee Goodpaster (Marlenea) of Frankfort; nieces, Kendall Debra Marlene, Danielle Nicole, and nephews, Gabriel Alexander Lee, David Nathan Lee, and Kenneth James Glenn.

He was preceded in death by his father, James  Kenneth Goodpaster.

Funeral services will be 1pm Friday, July 22, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Dallas Johnson officiating. Burial in Bellevue Cemetery. A private visitation will be held.

Pallbearers are Richard Lee Goodpaster, Robert Duane “Ruggy” Goodpaster, Jawan May, Nathan Goodpaster, Gabriel Goodpaster, and Daniel Wayne Doss.
