James McElroy

James McElroy, 55, of Danville, passed away Wednesday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He was born on September 21, 1964 in Boyle County to Bobby and Mary Hines McElroy.

James worked as a mechanic for many years.

Along with his father, James is survived by his two sons Dakota Blue Smallwood of Danville and Levi Smallwood of Science Hill; four grandchildren; one niece and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hines McElroy.

A private graveside service will be Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Chamber Cemetery in Mitchellsburg.
