James T. Porter

James T. Porter, 75, of Danville, passed away February 6, 2022 in Springfield, Kentucky. He was born on March 27, 1946 to John T. and Virginia Porter. 

He graduated from Danville High School in 1964 and Georgetown College in 1970, where he excelled in athletics. He retired from law enforcement and a member of First Baptist Church. 

Funeral services will be 12 Noon February 12, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Dr. Tim Mathis officiating. Visitation will be 10am until funeral time Saturday. Burial in Hustonville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Davis, Gary Lawrence, Baker Williams, Skip Howard and Buddy Hester.
