Jimmie Bailey Obituary

Jimmie Bailey, 77, of Boyle County, passed away Monday, November 4, 2024, at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. He was born on September 8, 1947, in Dallas, Texas to the late James W. and Odelia Daugherty Bailey.

He was a member of Todds Road Grace Baptist Church in Lexington.

Jimmie is survived by four sons; Keith Bailey (Anne) of Lexington, Chris Bailey of Lexington, Brian Bailey (Hannah) of Springfield, and Kevin Bailey (Catharine) of Lexington; grandchildren, Raven Bailey, Quinn Bailey, Cameron James Bailey, Atheana Bailey, and Florence Bailey; and a brother, Steve Bailey (Rita Jo) of Perryville.

Jimmie was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Bailey.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, November 8, 2024, at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery.


Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Keith Bailey, Kevin Bailey, Chris Bailey, Brian Bailey, Jackie Gray, Steve Bailey and Cooper Brown.
