Jimmy L. Matherly, Jr.

Jimmy Leon Matherly, Jr., 55, of Harrodsburg, passed away January 8, 2022 at his home. He was born on May 1, 1966 in Boyle County to Jimmy Leon Matherly and Mary Honaker Matherly. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Nancy Brown Matherly.

Jimmy was a talented musician and was a member of Danville Church of God where he played on the praise team band for 3 years.

Jimmy is also survived by two daughters, Lindsey Mullins (Chris) of Junction City and Hailey Prather of Nicholasville; a brother, Mike Matherly (Anna) of Parksville; a sister, Paula Matherly of Danville; five grandchildren, Sean Rutherford, Andrew Holder, Christian Holder, Zylah Holder and Emilee Holder.

Funeral will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Danville Church of God with Pastor Bryan Montgomery officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church.
