Jo Ann Wimberly, 74, of Danville, passed away July 29, 2026 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 16, 1952 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Eddie and Mable Willoughby.
Jo Ann loved the outdoors, she enjoyed working in her garden, tending to her plants and she loved to fish. Jo Ann especially enjoyed traveling to her favorite cabin with her loving fiancé, David. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving is her son, Charles Craycraft (Jennifer) of Danville; a daughter, Kacy Wimberly of Louisville; her fiancé, David Midkiff of Lexington; grandchildren, Jonathan, Hunter, Carlie, and Julie Craycraft, Logan Carrier and Kayla Carrier; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Donnie, Preston and Judy Willoughby.
A private family service will be held.
