Joe Edward Warner

Joe Edward Warner, 57, of Danville, passed away on January 15, 2026, at Henson Park Health and Rehab in Danville, Kentucky. He was born on August 15, 1968, in Danville, Kentucky, to the late Minnie Lee Warner.

Joe was a graduate of Danville High School and devoted many years of his life to working at RR Donnelley, Dana Corporation, and Deerfield/Huntsman Corporation. He was known for his love of cooking and reading, and for the pride he took in being present in his grandchildren’s lives. Some of his most meaningful moments were spent taking them to the public library, nurturing their curiosity and appreciation for knowledge. Joe was also a great friend to many, remembered for his big smile and contagious laugh. Above all, he was a devoted family man who loved deeply and always wanted the very best for those he held close.

Survivors include his sons, Joel Warner of Danville, Kruz Warner of Danville, and JoSeth Warner of Washington, D.C.; his grandchildren, Kiara, Adaya, Kamden, Kylinn, Zoey, Blakely, Aubrey Jo, Kreed, Krue, and Azaria; two brothers, Troy Warner (wife, Darlene) of Stanford and Juan Warner of Danville; a sister, Ebony Warner of Danville; many loving cousins; and several aunts and uncles who stood beside him and supported him, including James Meadows, Deb Richardson, Terry Gooch, and James Coulter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Minnie Warner, as well as his grandmother, Minnie Meadows.

Funeral services will be 3pm Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 20, 2026 from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
