John House

John House, 87, passed away December 13, 2022 at the VA Hospital in Lexington. He was born on October 19, 1935 in Stanford to the late Grover and Lulabelle House. He is survived by his loving wife, Shelby Jean House. 

John was a United States Air Force Veteran and he worked at IBM for many years.

He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Lexington, KY.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by a son, Tony House of Lexington; a daughter, Pamela Lynn Baldridge of Lexington; three grandchildren, Anthony Baldridge (Emily) of Ohio, Jennifer House of Florida and Andrew House (Jessica) of Florida; and four great grandchildren, Lila Baldridge, Henry Baldridge, Derrick Marcus, and Jacob House.
John is preceded in death by a great grandchild, Kiyrah Schinamon.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating.

Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time. 

Pallbearers will be Jeff Taylor, Bobby Grubbs, Clifton Grubbs, Anthony Baldridge, David Hurst and John Hurst.
