Johnny King

Johnny King, 64, of Parksville, passed away at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center on December 6, 2023. Johnny was born in Boyle County on July 31,1959 to the late Calvin and Ruby King. He is survived by his loving wife, Laura.

Surviving is a son, Kevin King (Brandi) of Parksville; a daughter, Tracy Ann King of Junction City; a brother, Mark King of Parksville; two sisters, Carolyn Murphy (Johnny) of Stanford and Becky Crowe (Jay) of Parksville; and seven grandchildren, Hannah Elder, Bradley Elder, K.J. King, Kadence King, Reyna King, Emera King and Journey King.

In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by two brothers, David King and Donnie King; and a grandson, Kaden King.

Funeral services will be 1pm Monday, December 11, 2023 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Henry Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, December 10, 2023 from 4-7pm. 

Pallbearers will be Kevin King, K.J. King, Bradley Elder, Dustin Cornett, Brent Cornett, Justin Smothers and Hannah Elder.
