Joyce Vest

Joyce Vest, 72, of Danville, passed away September 22, 2020 at Ephraim McDowell Hospital. She was born November 2, 1947 in Lincoln County to the late Aldean and Frances Seltsam and James and Myrtle Hurt. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Benjamin Vest. 

To know her, was to love her.

She is survived by one son, Scott Vest (Betty) of Danville, one daughter, Dawn Semones (Mike) of Danville, one brother, Glenn Hurt (Pat) of Stanford, grandchildren, Austin Vest (Dakota) of Danville, Chase Semones of Danville, Josh Summers of Casey County and Dustin Summers (Kimmy) of Hustonville and great grandchildren, Vivian and Statham Summers. 

Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, September 28, 2020 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Charlie Perry officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Austin Vest, Chase Semones, Danny Pevey, Patrick Johnson, Alex Blake and Dustin Summers.
