Judy Woods Obituary

Judy Woods, 64, of Danville, passed away February 25, 2021 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Cecil and Miranda Williams Spence. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael Woods.

Judy retired as a nurse from St. Joseph Hospital after working there for many years. She loved her dogs, working puzzles, yard sales and loved to travel. Judy was a member of Danville Church of God.

Surviving is a son, Joshua Thomas of Danville; a brother in law, Bruce Chute of Danville; grandchildren, Adina Thomas (Dylan Prater) of Lancaster, Jasmine Thomas of Danville and Brittany Thomas (Eric Mangaroo) of Danville, two great grandchildren, Jace and Damon Prater of Lancaster and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were very special to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Chute.

Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow at Danville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Eric Mangaroo, Dylan Prater, Melvin Mock, Kris Miller and Scott Brammer, Jr.
